Ian Browde

Ian Browde has over 35 years’ experience in leadership, management, business development, strategy and business futurism. He currently serves as a Fractional Executive working with leadership teams on partnering with AI, change, mentoring and technology evangelism.

He led business development for Apple’s International division, where among his other accomplishments was Apple’s first foray into China; a computer lab at West China University in Chengdu, Sichuan. He served as Director of Business Development at Nokia Internet Communications and worked at a number of cybersecurity and sustainability companies; some were startups he co-founded.

Prior to emigrating to the USA he lived in South Africa and Israel, where he farmed on a kibbutz and saw frontline combat in the 1973 war.

Ian holds U.S. Patent #7574415, a human/machine interface design to leverage computers for personal growth, a BA from Wits University, South Africa, and a JD from Santa Clara Law School, California.

Ian was head of Habonim South Africa in 1970.
