About
Lauren Segal specializes in developing and curating heritage sites, memorial projects and permanent and temporary exhibitions, as well as producing drama and factual television series. Her projects include Johannesburg’s Constitution Hill, Mandela’s prison archive, the Centre of the Study of Violence and Reconciliation, the Gaborone National Museum, the Johannesburg Holocaust and Genocide Centre, the Maze/Long Kesh Prison in Northern Island and consultations in Morocco, Lebanon and Kenya. Lauren has co-written Soweto: A History, Number Four; the Making of Constitution Hill; Mapping Memories; A Prisoner in the Garden; Great Lives, Pivotal Moments; Great People, Great Places; One Law One ; and Cancer: A Love Story.
