About
Paul Browde is a psychiatrist, therapist and couples’ guide. He completed residency training in psychiatry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, trained in acting at the Drama Studio London and runs a narratively informed psychiatric practice in Manhattan, where he has taught Narrative Medicine at Columbia University. He cofounded a storytelling company called Narativ and has led projects with the Open Society Foundations, teaching storytelling as an advocacy tool to grantees in Africa and Eastern Europe. Paul is co-writer and co-performer of Two Men Talking, produced in theaters in South Africa, London’s West End and Off-Broadway in New York City, and has been critically acclaimed in The New York Times, The Guardian, and The London Times.
